Random Pictures

There has not been much going on around our house to blog about, so here are some pictures I have taken over the past two weeks. It is kind of nice for a change that we have not had anything eventful to share.

Here are a couple of my funny outtakes. It is quite a challenge to get everybody to smile and look forward at the same time. I torture them with all the pictures I take and this is an example of how they get me back...

Tiger Pride

On the weekend of September 17th we took a trip to Snyder to help celebrate Uncle Aaron's 30th birthday with Chris's family. It was a great weekend and great party! We took this opportunity to all dress in our Snyder Tigers outfits.

Another cousin picture...this one turned out so cute!! This one was just as challenging to get as the ones we have taken in the past but the outcome was great!!
Here is a picture of the whole family including Grandmom and Granddad. This group has grown by three this year.

One More TIme

Kate got her new teeth on Tuesday!! We are all happy with them. She is even willing to show them off to anybody who asks to see them. Let's just pray that this set lasts a lot longer than the last ones did. No more accidents at the Stansell house please!!

Little Cowboy

Our "Little Cowboy" is six weeks old today!! He is growing like a weed. I don't know how much he weighs, but he is starting to out grow some of his newborn clothes. He has started wearing his 0-3 month clothes now. It is funny how an outfit can be way to big one week and fit perfectly the next.

Grandparents Day at School

Today Memaw Linda, Granddad Bob, and Memaw Dena came over to Midland to eat lunch with Luke and Rachel at school to celebrate Grandparents Day. The kids were so excited they came. We even got to eat Happy Meals for lunch, including me! Memaw Dena came as a surprise. It is pretty special to have your 92 year old Great Grandmother get to come eat lunch with you. It was such a fun morning Kate came home and went straight for her blanket and got on the couch and took a nap without being told. We are glad we got to celebrate Grandparents Day with the kids grandparents and mine as well!

Colts Cheerleading

The Colts football season officially started Saturday. Rachel is very excited to get to cheer her team on again this season. Here she is with one of the newest Colt fans.

It was very sunny and hot for the game, but it was nothing a snow cone could not fix after the game.

Teamwork

While I was loading the dishwasher Rachel and Luke were keeping Wade quiet. Rachel was holding Wade and Luke was holding the pacifier while they both watched TV.

Where Does the Time Go??

Wade turned one month old yesterday!! He is growing so fast. He LOVES to eat and lets you know the minute he gets a little hungry. He already weighs 9 pounds 5 ounces! His hair line is starting to recede. He is sleeping much better at night and staying awake more during the day. Rachel, Luke, and Kate love to hold him and try to keep him happy. Luke is especially attentive which really surprises me. Wade couldn't find five people who love him more. He is the perfect addition to our family and we can hardly remember what life was like before he arrived.
