3 Months

Guess who turns three months today!?!?

Who me? Now, I guess you want to take more pictures of me.
This is what I think about that.
I will just try to eat my fist the whole time you have the camera out.
Ha Ha!! So you are just going to give up!

Wade is doing just great! He is such a good baby! He is happy most of the time. He likes to lay on the floor and play on his activity mat and watch his mobile in his crib. He has started batting at his toys and trying to roll over. He is consistently enjoying his bath now. He lets us know when he is hungry or tired. He has really found his voice the last few days. He is doing a lot of squealing! I think he is starting to cut a tooth because he is constantly trying to eat his fist and drooling a bunch. The last time we weighed him (last week) he was 14 pounds and 2 ounces. Wade is growing and changing every day. It just makes me sad it is happening so fast.

Eek!! There Is A Skunk In the Pumpkin Patch!!

We made our annual trek to the Pumpkin Patch this afternoon and we ran into some pretty interesting characters. The first thing we noticed was that a skunk had gotten into the patch!! We were scared at first but quickly realized it was just a baby one, and all he wanted to do was find a comfortable place to take a nap.

Luke Skywalker was there to protect us if things got out of hand.

We saw a pink leopard that was as cute as she could be.

Little Red Riding Hood was trying to find her Grandma's house and stay away from the Big Bad Wolf!

We got everybody together for a few group shots...

We had a great time at the Pumpkin Patch! Such a fun place to get a pumpkin and a few fall pictures!

Exercise

Wade loves to exercise by kicking his little legs. He can play like this for an hour. He is going to have some strong legs.

Wade's Two Month Stats

Wade at Two Months:

Weight - 13 pounds - 75th percentile

Height - 24 1/2 inches - 90th percentile

Wade is doing just great!! He has started smiling and cooing at us a lot. I just melt when he gives me one of his big cheesy grins. The kids are enjoying his grins too. He was cooing at Luke the other day and Luke came running telling me that Wade was trying to talk to him. He was so excited! I love that the kids notice when Wade does something new.

Wade is a good baby. He still sleeps a lot during the day. He gets a little fussy in the evening when I am trying to get dinner ready. It is a little tough, to say the least, to get dinner ready while holding this little boy. It takes more than one hand to cook, but he won't let the kids hold him while he is fussy. Mommy is the only one that can do the trick.

He sleeps pretty good at night. He is ready to go to sleep about 8:30pm. He goes about six hours before he wakes to eat followed by a three or four hour stretch. The only problem is when he wakes for his night time bottle he likes to stay awake and play for awhile. So we are usually up for about an hour and a half for his night time feeding. I am getting caught up on the shows I like to watch. Thank goodness for DVRs. This is a luxury we did not have when the other kids were babies.
He is eating like a champ .....you can tell by the extra chin! Meal times are serious business.
