School's Out for Summer!!!!

Yesterday was the last day of school! We were all ready for the last day of school! We also have finished up swimming lessons and Awanas. We are now looking forward to sleeping in late, playing by the pool, our upcoming trip to Dallas, and just relaxing. I am sure life is not going to slow down as much as I want it to, but I can still hope.

Field Day 2009

Rachel's school had Field Day today. I must say this is the best Field Day I have ever seen complete with jumpers and snowcones. They played games outside all morning and this afternoon they will have relays inside in the gym. The weather was perfect! It was about 75 and sunny with a slight breeze. We will miss the relays because of nap time, but we had fun watching her this morning.

Had Enough

Kate was less than perfect at Rachel's Field Day today. She turned 22 months today which means she is in the "Terrible Two's." She is generally a very smiley and happy baby, but when she gets mad she gets MAD.

She was buckled in the stroller but wiggled her way out. She can do the same with her car seat.

Because she refused to go back in the stroller I put her down to walk home. She did not like that idea. NOT ONE LITTLE BIT!!!

I am glad I had my camera handy. Now you can see we are not always smiling and happy around here.

Graduation Day

Luke graduated from Preschool this afternoon!! It is official, he is going to Kindergarten in the Fall!!

This is Luke with his best buddy Owen. They are so sweet together.

Piano Recital

Rachel had her first piano recital this evening. She did great!!! We are so proud of her!!! She said she was not even nervous. She said the only time she felt scared was when her name was called. Tonight was a first for me too. I had never been to a piano recital before.

Rachel has been taking piano lessons for three and a half months.

Big Five

Lukie celebrated his fifth birthday on April 28th. It is so hard to believe our baby boy is already five. He is such fun little boy. He keeps us laughing all the time.

He had a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. He had lots of family and friends there to celebrate with him. Here are just a FEW pictures from his birthday celebration.

Fun In The Sun

It was in the upper 90's today. It was the perfect weather to set up the little pool in the back yard. The kids had a blast! It is funny how a little bit of water makes things more fun!
