Be My Valentine

We found Luke's monkey Memaw Linda!

This year for Valentine's Day Johnnie and I got together and planned our own night out with our husbands. My parents and Grandmother came to sit with the kids so we could have our night out. The kids were so excited! The four of us went to eat steaks at Clear Springs Cafe and then to watch the movie, He is Just Not That Into You. The dinner was great, but the move not so much. It was unanimous about half way through the movie that the movie was horrible, and we should leave and salvage the rest of the evening. So we decided to go get some ice cream! We had a fun time, and it was a special treat to get to go out with Johnnie and Aaron. We have never had a double date together, but I hope we get to again soon!

Luke and Rachel each had Valentine's parties at their schools. They enjoy making the boxes to collect their loot, getting the little cards from their friends, and eating all the candy as fast as they can. For their Valentine's gift from us I took Rachel and Luke to Chuck E Cheese with a friend of mine and her kids. They played games and ate pizza until the money ran out. Chuck E Cheese is always a fun treat for them. Kate stayed home with Daddy and did not know what she was missing. I know we won't get by with that next year.

Hi,
I'm glad Luke found the monkey!!!
We had fun with the kids that night. We all laugh at Kate playing with her grocery cart. I think she made 100 trips putting the doll on the end table and walking back a forth to the cart with her doll and duck. We all had a good time with the kids and eating out for our Valentine. Grandma tolded Lorita she enjoyed being with the kids.

I better go!! love to all,

Memaw Linda and Mother

Chris was completely right about the movie. He said that it was going to be awful. Boy was he right. He's so awesome.
