Wade, you are eight month old!!!
I know I can hardly believe it either!!!Wade is doing just great!! He cut another tooth(he has eight total), said his first word, and traveled out of state this month. Since the weather is warming up he enjoys going for walks and watching the big kids play from his swing or walker outside. He has also started playing on the floor with his toys really well. He does not like his exersaucer much anymore:0( He still loves for you to sing to him. He also likes "splash time" or bath time.
Wade's first word was "bubble." That is what it sounded like the first day anyway. Now it has turned into a universal word. Sometimes it sounds like ba ba, bubba, or bye bye. Time will tell what he is saying. Mama was the other kids first word, so I don't know what to think. I have been working with him, but nothing that sounds like mama so far. Apparently he likes the b sound.
Wade is growing and changing everyday but one thing remains constant...the boy loves to eat!! He started feeding himself graham crackers. He is an expert at it now. You can put two on his tray and they are gone in no time. He eats all his fruits and veggies too.
He and Amos have become much better friends here lately. I wonder why?
This is Wade with his favorite blanket...the only problem is that it is Luke's blanket. My Aunt Lorita made a blanket for all the kids. Wade's is white, but this blue one is softer so he has claimed it as his. You just try to take it away from him. If it helps him sleep I am all for it.

We have scheduled Wade's second eye surgery for May 12th. Please say a prayer for him that this surgery will do the trick.

My goodness...what a big boy! 8 months, how fast time flies. I'm going to have to make a point to see your kids more...they are growing and changing so fast!
