There were two photographers taking pictures. This one was emailed to us later. It is a much better picture!!! Yay Chris!!
Last week President George W. Bush was bike riding with several other cyclists in Lajitas, Texas. Chris's helicopter crew was asked to be on call in case of an emergency. Thankfully, there were no emergencies!! When the 34 mile bike ride was over President Bush came over to meet everybody. Chris said he was shorter than he imagined and in really good shape.
I was so excited for Chris!! It is so cool that he actually got to meet and shake hands with the President!!! It is rumored that Lance Armstrong was there too, but Chris did not see him. He must have been overshadowed by President Bush if he was there.

This is truly amazing and the "good shall survive". Never hurts to say thank you, no matter who you are or what age one might be.
I am still so pumped my big brother got to meet, shake hands with, and take a picture with President George W. Bush!!!!! That is just too neat!!!!!! And I'm so glad he has a picture to go along with the memory that was made!!!! :)
We are thrilled he got the picture to go with the memory of meeting and shaking hands with the President!! That was a once in a lifetime experience for sure.
Barbara Chris said he went around the whole room and met everybody.
