The excitement has been building around my house the past few weeks. Especially with me and Rachel, but for different reasons. Rachel had hers and Luke's backpacks and lunch packed by noon yesterday to be ready for this morning. Luke has not been excited at all, but he seemed to be pretty excited this morning. Yay for the First Day of School!!! Today Rachel starts Fifth Grade and Luke starts Second Grade!!
If Rachel looks a little less than thrilled in these pictures it is because her tummy is hurting. We told her she could stay home, but she wanted to go to school. I hope she feels better after she settles in. I just hate that her first day started with a stomach ache.
We are praying for a great year with lots of learning!! I hope they are still smiling when I pick them up this afternoon.
