My Little Houdini

Wade has learned a new trick. He can get out of his highchair and a grocery cart...even with the belt on. This is not making things any easier on me...not at all. This picture was taken yesterday at breakfast. I had left the room and returned to this. This morning I was in the kitchen...maybe on the computer...I turned around and he was holding onto the kitchen island for dear life with his bottom half about to slip off the tray. I caught him just in time! Grocery shopping is a nightmare. You can sit him in the seat and belt him in then turn to get an item off the shelf and when you put the item in the cart he is standing up. Putting him in the back of the cart is only a little safer, but not for the items you are going to purchase...he likes to throw everything out of the cart. Yesterday we were at Open House for Children's Day Out and Wade was climbing on the little chairs and getting onto the table....and I thought Kate was my dare devil.

The picture of Wade sitting on the highchair reminded me of this picture below. I always thought this was so funny. Dixie pushed the highchair to the hearth of the fire place and climbed up all by herself. Now that is a resourceful dachshund. She could not figure out how to get herself down. I remember her barking (I was getting ready in the bathroom) trying to tell me she was stuck...after she cleaned off the tray.
Look at baby Rachel back when she was an only child. HaHa.

If you do not see him getting to that point. It is not that scarie. When you found them.Like the time you climb out of the bath tub in a 8 by 35 foot trailer. I turned around to go see about you and there you stood laughing at me. Kids thats a story on your mother to remember. Love you all, Memaw Linda
