Today was Luke's first soccer game since he was four and decided he hated soccer. He plays soccer at recess everyday and has grown to really like it. This summer he begged and begged for me to sign him up for soccer again. I signed him up back in July for the Fall season. He has been so excited to practice and go to his first game. I mean there has been an 180 degree change in his game since he was four. He really gets in there and fights for the ball, and he is a VERY fast runner! Here he is all excited before the game.
He chose his Daddy's number, 88, as his number!
He got to be the team captain at today's game.
The game did not go so well. The other team was very good. Luke did a great job!! We were so proud of him!! You can't win them all.
This little soccer fan was ready to get home for lunch and a nap...

Luke great work on the soccer field. I can not wait to see you play soccer this year. I know your dad is proud that you are wearing is 88 number. ...........enjoyed have luch with you for grandpartent day and memaw Dena got to be with us again this year. Rachel we enjoyed lunch with you for grandpartents day also and you are growing into a beautifull young lady. we all enjoyed our day with you all.
